Tea has become a commonplace item, a drink shared by the world's cultures, a habit. Accordingly, this exhibition seeks to reinvigorate the senses and dive beyond the conscious, as we take you on a voyage to the depths of tea culture.

Drinking tea can be simple as quenching one's thirst, or as intricate as sensations evoked by Taiwan's tea offering custom. Tea is at once life and culture. There are no standards nor set preferences – what we like is personal. To the body, it appeals to both rationality and sensibility – one precipitates scientific inquiry and understanding; the other lifts us beyond the grasp of words, to a spiritual realm of sublime wisdom and beauty.

A product of microclimates, soil conditions, and human craft, tea unites delicate flavors of nature with art. From its growth, processing, brewing, to tasting, each variable is carefully encoded into tea’s final appearance, aroma, taste, and texture.
